Governor Justice is defending his proposal to use federal COVID-19 relief funding for road projects. Senator Joe Manchin is questioning Justice’s priorities for the funding. The governor set aside one-hundred-million-dollars for “COVID-19 related highway projects.” He says the highway department will vet the projects through EMS.
Contact tracing is underway after four people, who tested positive for COVID-19, went to three crowded downtown Morgantown bars last week. Almost thirty cases of the virus have been reported in Monongalia County in the past ten days.
