Road worker is injured by a passing vehicle

A road worker was injured after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Kanawha County. Deputies said it happened about 8:45 a.m. near Winfield Road and U.S. 60 in the Amandaville area. A worker flagging traffic was struck by a passing bucket truck. The worker was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
