A couple wanted for murder in North Carolina is under arrest in West Virginia. Charleston police got a tip that the pair were at a home on Viewmont Drive. Thirty-six-year-old Blake Parrish and thirty-three-year-old Lori Allen were taken into custody without incident.
A Jackson County man is under arrest in connection to a vehicle fire in Parkersburg. Forty-eight-year-old Christopher Mullins is charged with arson after a 2017 Ford Focus was found destroyed in a fire on George Street.
Firefighters responded to a fully involved apartment fire at the Country Club Village Apartments in the Davis Creek area. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A Huntington man is facing attempted murder charges for badly beating his mother. The incident happened last March. Shannon Overstreet’s mother suffered a “significant brain bleed” from the attack.
