Huntington Shooting is Under Investigation

Shots were fired in the 1600 block of 8th Avenue in Huntington on Saturday night. Cabell County dispatchers confirmed a dog was shot and one individual was transported from the scene for medical treatment although the extent of the injuries were not clear. The investigation is continuing.

Hurricane woman sentenced for entering Capitol on Jan. 6th

Gracyn Courtright will spend a month in jail for her actions inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. The 24-year-old college student from Hurricane pleaded guilty to entering and remaining in a restricted building. She was captured on surveillance video carrying a “Members Only” sign from the Senate floor.
