A Fayette County woman is under arrest after deputies found heroin, methamphetamine and a large sum of cash in a home where two young kids live. Officers said the home was uninhabitable for children. Man arrested in Dunbar shooting

A man is in custody in a Dunbar shooting. Twenty-four-year-old Joshua Keith shot a woman in the mouth during an argument. She is in a local hospital, but there is no word on the extent of her injuries.

Fire Marshal shuts down building after Logan fire

No one was hurt when a fire broke out at a car wash on Charles Street in Logan. Apartments above the car wash were also involved. The fire marshal is shutting down the building because it is in violation of state fire code. Storage units were turned into makeshift apartments. Several people are displaced.

State’s Jobless Rate Shows Slight Improvement
