The Kanawha County Commission is approving the dates for trick-or-treating in the unincorporated areas of the county. It will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 30th. Most other municipalities are expected to follow suit.

Alcohol goes on sale early Sunday morning

Starting Sunday morning, you’ll be able to buy alcohol earlier than usual. You can now purchase liquor starting a 6 a.m. on Sundays, earlier than the previous 1 p.m. law. Restaurants can also include alcohol with delivery orders. Christmas and Easter Sunday are still an exception to the law.
