Governor Justice is calling the 2020 Census numbers a real problem. The state’s population declined by nearly sixty-thousand over the past ten years. Justice says that if we don’t find a way to start growing, the situation will get worse. Less people means less revenue.

COVID cases climb in Kanawha County

Kanawha County’s active COVID-19 cases climbed to more than four-hundred over the weekend with more than sixty new cases. At a clinic over the weekend health officials vaccinated more than 140 people, and administered over sixty COVID tests.

Two men arrested for vocational school break-in

Two Lincoln County men are under arrest after a month-long robbery investigation. The men were found inside at auto shop at Ralph R. Willis Vocational School. Police have been investigating multiple break-ins and the theft of several thousand dollars’ worth of equipment from the facility.
