Parents protest mask mandate

Dozens of people gathered at the state Capitol to protest Kanawha County’s decision to require masks for kids in elementary school. The demonstrators are calling for parent choice. The CDC says masks are the next best mitigation strategy next to vaccines.

WVSU paying off student debt

West Virginia State University will use more than 800-thousand-dollars in CARES Act funding to pay off the account balances of almost three-thousand students. WVSU says graduate and undergraduate students from March 2020 to the summer of 2021 will have zero balances.
