Jefferson shooting under investigation

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Jefferson. A 29-year-old man was shot in the leg outside Big Marv’s Café. He’s in stable condition. No arrests have been made.

Uptick in COVID-19 cases in Kanawha County

The Kanawha Charleston Health Department is reporting seventy-five new COVID-19 cases since Thursday. The department is calling it a significant increase. Two weeks ago there were fewer than five cases-per-day. COVID testing and vaccine clinics are available at the health department, and a special Saturday clinics is scheduled for this weekend.

Yeager Airport Adds a New Playground
