Police are investigating after a man walked into the emergency room at CAMC General with a gunshot wound. The shooting happened on Patrick Street, and someone drove the victim to the hospital, but he is not cooperating with police.

Man facing animal cruelty charges

A 20-year-old South Charleston man is facing animal cruelty charges. Police conducted a welfare check at a home on East Village Drive, when he told officers he overdosed his cat and decapitated it with a machete.
