Closing arguments wrapped up yesterday. The City of Huntington and Cabell County claim the big-three drug distributors fueled the epidemic by distributing millions of pills.

KCEAA announces new Executive Director

The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority has a new Executive Director. Monica Mason takes over the position immediately. Her appointment comes in the midst of an investigation into accusations of misuse of money from the employee relations fund.

Woman arrested for shooting boyfriend

A 26-year-old Huntington woman is under arrest for shooting her boyfriend in the leg. Ladreisha Flowers says she shot him in response to domestic abuse. The victim was released from the hospital and taken into custody for outstanding warrants.

Man accused of shooting at police arraigned

The man accused of shooting at Charleston police was released from the hospital and appeared in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. Thirty-eight-year-old Joseph Larch was still in his hospital gown when he was brought up on charges of attempted murder and wanton endangerment.
