WV Air National Guard participating in training exercise

You may have noticed military aircraft flying over Charleston the past few days…The West Virginia Air National Guard is taking part in a joint training drill called “Exercise Sentry Storm 2021.” The drill involves about five-hundred service members from the Air Force, Army and Navy, so they can practice communication and hone their combat skills.

Man wanted for leading police on pursuit

The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office is offering a one-thousand-dollar reward for information that will help them capture a man who led them on a chase through several counties. Second arrest in Ranson stabbing

A second arrest has been made in connection to a stabbing at a motel in the Ranson area. Charles Cook Jr. and Amanda Frey were both taken into custody in Berkeley County. Investigators say a fight took place in a motel room, and the victim was stabbed to death.

11 WV counties in orange, gold, or yellow on COVID map

Eleven West Virginia counties now find themselves in the Orange, gold, or yellow on the COVID-19 alert map. Webster County is the only county in orange. There are almost ninety new cases of COVID-19, and over one-thousand active cases. Hospitalizations are up, and one more person has died.
