Marshall football coach will lead Cabell County Fair parade

Marshall Football Coach Charles Huff is being named the Grand Marshal of the Cabell County Fair Parade. Huff was hired as the Thundering Herd’s head coach in January and is preparing for his first season in Huntington. The parade is set for Sunday, July 25th and runs along route-60 in Milton.

I-64 construction delays

Construction is ramping up on a 224-million-dolar widening project on I-64 between Nitro and the U.S. 35 interchange at Scott Depot. Blasting will start today and is schedule for Monday through Friday between noon and 2 p.m…That will require rolling roadblocks in the eastbound lanes of I-64, and ramps in both directions will be closed.

Last day to apply for FEMA assistance

Today is the deadline to apply for federal assistance for damage from storms in February and March. Men arrested for stealing merchandise from Walmart

Two men are accused of stealing nearly two-thousand-dollars in merchandise from a Ripley Walmart. The walked out of the store with a 35-gallon tote full of stolen goods. Both men are in custody and have outstanding warrants for shoplifting in Wood County.
