Governor Justice is calling for state Delegate Joe Jeffries to resign. The governor says videos Jeffries posted to TikTok are disgustingly vulgar and especially insulting to women. Justice expected an apology from Jeffries over the weekend, but so far, there’s been no comment.

Oak Hill man facing animal cruelty charges

An Oak Hill man is facing animal cruelty charges, after police found almost twenty dogs on his property covered in fleas and in very poor health. The New River Humane Society is taking care of the animals. It’s the third animal cruelty and hoarding case the shelter has seen in just over a month.

Landslide closes Washington Street West

A landslide closed parts of Washington Street West. The slide happened within feet of three homes. Two of the homes are vacant, but a third is occupied. Crews have shut off the gas while they assess the damage.

Governor Justice is ordering state police to step-up speed limit enforcement on major highways after two fatal work zone accidents in Berkeley County.
