Deadly ATV crash in Preston County

A man was killed in an ATV crash near Masontown, and a passenger was hurt. Investigators say the man who was killed di not appear to be wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the ATV.

Two South Charleston men are under arrest in connection to a theft investigation at a Boone County mine. The pair is accused of stealing a large amount of mine property from the Hobet site.

Charleston’s Fourth of July fireworks show will affect traffic on both side of the river. The fireworks will start around 9:45 Sunday night. Parts of Kanawha Boulevard will be closes, in addtion to Porter Road, MacCorkle Avenue, and Grosscup Road.
