Firefighters quickly brought a fire under control at the Blacksville Number-Two preparation plant. The blaze broke out in the dryer and part of a belt line. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

State lawmakers return for a special session today to consider allocating 250-million-dollars to various state agencies. The money comes current year budget surplus funds.
