Vehicle crashes into convenience store

A vehicle crashed into the Branchland Family Dollar store on McClellan Highway. The accident left a gaping hole in the side of the building, and knocked merchandise off the shelf inside the store. No one was hurt. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Man sentenced to 35 years in prison for attacking woman

A Fayette county man will spend up to thirty-five-years in prison for attacking a woman in 2019. Thirty-three-year-old Justin Conner strangled the woman until she was unconscious before sexually assaulting her, and a month later he kicked in her door and attacked her multiple times.

Ambulance Authority rejects SOAR proposal
