No fans at WVU home basketball games

The seats will remain empty at WVU home basketball games. The ban on fans is extended until January 24th due to increasing COVID-19 infections. There are four women’s games and three men’s games on the schedule between now and the 24th.

COVID-19 alert map mostly “red”

West Virginia health officials are reporting over 15-hundred new cases of COVID-19, and thirty-nine more people have died. There are over 800 people hospitalized with the virus, and more than two-hundred are in ICU. The state’s daily COVID-19 map is almost all red. There are eight counties that are orange.

WV senators react to protests at U.S. Capitol

Both West Virginia senators are responding to the protests at the Capitol. Senator Manchin said, “These thugs cannon and will not run us off.” And Senator Capito responded, “We don’t do this. It’s not who we are.”
