Members of the West Virginia Broadband Enhancement Council are creating a new statewide broadband internet availability map. The map uses speed data from customers to create a detailed map of where broadband is and isn’t across the state.

WV’s first charter school application denied

West Virginia’s first charter school application is being denied. The Monongalia County board of education voted against the school’s application, saying it lacks clarity, critical details, and coherence. Governor Justice signed a bill last year allowing three charter schools to open in the state.
