A Kanawha County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed a vehicle that had been reported stolen, and that led to an arrest. The deputy spotted the vehicle on Saturday on I-77 near Cabin Creek and turned around to catch up with it. An elderly couple is recovering from a violent home invasion on West Country Club Drive. A man and woman stole their truck and several items from the home. Police spotted the truck several hours later and took both suspects into custody.
Police are looking for 18-year-old Amar Richardson. He’s wanted in connection to a shooting earlier this month in Malden. He’s charged with malicious assault and wanton endangerment.
