WVU returns to in-person classes

WVU will resume in-person classes on Monday. Instruction went online September 7th after a spike in COVID-19 cases. The Monongalia Health Department says positive cases are trending down.

Gov. Justice calls for move COVID-19 testing

Governor Justice wants everyone in West Virginia to get tested for COVID-19. To prove how easy it is, he live streamed himself getting tested. The Governor announced a plan to send the National Guard into counties that are in the “red” and the “orange” to conduct more widespread testing.

Police investigating Morgantown shooting

A man was shot and wounded on Pennsylvania Avenue in Morgantown. He was shot in the chest and was rushed to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Police are looking for a silver Infiniti G35 in connection to the shooting.

Putnam County Boosts Testing Opportunities

Hundreds of people were tested for COVID-19 this week at separate testing events in Putnam County.
