West Virginia ends 2020 fiscal year with surplus

West Virginia closed fiscal year 2020 with a 28-million-dollar surplus, despite challenges caused by the pandemic. Revenue was up more than expected, and 40-percent of us filed our taxes early. Governor Justice says the state was also able to make up revenue by taking money from the Medicaid surplus, then replenishing it later.

City of Charleston receiving over $1 million in development grants
