A winning Lotto America grand prize ticket worth $4.28 million was sold in Cabell County. The West Virginia Lottery says the ticket was sold at the Tobacco Barn in Milton. The Lotto America game is available in 13 states and has drawings on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council donated nearly 18-thousand boxes of Girl Scout cookies to the Mountaineer Food Bank. The council had a surplus of cookies because of the pandemic. The food bank delivers to more than 460 food pantries and soup kitchens around the state.
