WVU officials are concerned about reports of several off-campus parties. The university says it will not tolerate behavior that violates health and safety guidelines, which prohibits gatherings of more than twenty-five people. It could result in a charge and sanctions under the Student Conduct Code.

Keyser woman holds bank customers hostage

A Keyser woman is under arrest for holding people hostage with a shotgun at the Chessie Federal Credit Union. Police stormed the building and took 38-year-old Mary Ann Crossland into custody. No one was hurt. She’s facing kidnapping and weapons charges.
