Charleston Town Center reopens with social distancing

Charleston Town Center is officially open, but with new hours and new guidelines. The mall is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Social distancing is encouraged; stores have capacity limitations and arrows to show you where to go.

Parades Honor Area Students

Two parades on Thursday honored students in Kanawha County. Seniors from Sissonville High School drove the normal homecoming route and supporters lined the route while Principal Ron Reedy handed out diplomas at the end, in front of the school. Another Charleston Summer Event is Canceled

A summer staple in Charleston has joined the list of events canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Organizers of Multifest held a teleconference meeting this week and voted unanimously to cancel this year’s edition. The plan is to resume the event in 2021. This summer would have been the 31st year for the festival.
