A Cross Lanes Gym Will Re-open Wednesday

Planet Fitness in Cross Lanes has announced it will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10. Team members will be conducting regular cleanings and they’ll have overnight deep cleanings. Physical distancing guidelines will also be in place.

Summer reading books in the mail

About 200-thousand books will arrive in the mail to rising first and second graders. It’s part of the Blue ribbon Selections Book Club to keep students engaged in the summer months.

Changes at WV Lottery building

Social distancing changes are being made at the West Virginia Lottery building. There will be a temperature check at the parking gate, separate doors will be used for entering and exiting the building, and elevators will be limited to two people as a time.

Six more test positive for COVID-19

Six more people in West Virginia have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to over 21-hundred. The death toll remains at 84, and the positive test rate is under two-percent.

Youth sports can get back on the field

Youth baseball, soccer, and other summer sports can get back on the field today. Indoor sports facilities for adults can reopen as well. Coming up later this week; private camp campgrounds, and State Park campgrounds, cabins and lodges can reopen for out-of-state visitors.
