FestivALL is going virtual. The popular art, music, and entertainment festival will be held online in June. At-home concerts, artist roundtable discussions, and make-at-home activities for kids will make up the 15 day schedule starting June 14th.

Gestamp eliminating 140 jobs

Gestamp is eliminating 140 jobs at its South Charleston plant. The auto parts manufacturer furloughed 20-percent of its workforce at the beginning of the pandemic, and now says those workers aren’t coming back.

Gov. Justice outlines Week 4 of “Comeback” plan

Governor Justice says reopening West Virginia is a balancing act. Next week is week-four of the governor’s “comeback” plan, and includes reopening restaurants at 50-percent capacity, and reopening big box retailers. He says he is still assessing shopping malls and gyms.

Berkeley County man dies from COVID-19

A 78-year-old Berkeley County man is the latest person to die from COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll to 58. Seven more people tested positive for the virus, for a total of nearly 14-hundred statewide. The positive test rate is just over two-percent.
