Charleston Area Medical Center will reopen today for elective surgeries and other procedures. Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center have also been approved to resume elective procedures. The hospitals say all proper safety guidelines are in place to protect patients, staff, and visitors.

A Hurricane man is under arrest for breaking into a woman’s vehicle and stealing her debit and credit cards. Thirty-three-year-old Justin Hager used the cards to buy a cell phone and a pizza. He’s charged with three counts of fraud.
