Explosion in downtown Charleston no injuries

Emergency crews responded to an explosion in downtown Charleston Thursday afternoon. The blast was reported by dispatchers about 1:45 p.m. atop a building in the 800 block of Lee Street East. Crews on scene told Eyewitness News a generator blew and no injuries were reported.
