City of Charleston adopts new hunting rules

Investigation is underway after stabbing incident at a local jail

Police responded to a stabbing at South Central Regional Jail. Metro 911 dispatchers said an inmate was stabbed shortly before 10 p.m. Monday. A spokesperson for the West Virginia Department of Corrections said there was an incident at the jail and an inmate was taken to the hospital. West Virginia State Police are investigating.
