Roane County firefighter dies off duty

A Roane County fire station is mourning the loss of one of its own. Stephen Cale, Jr. was the Assistant Chief at the Clover-Roane Volunteer Fire Department and passed away suddenly last weekend. Cale had been part of the Clover-Roane VFD for 24 years.
