Police are still looking for nineteen-year-old Dekotis Thomas in connection to the death of KJ Taylor earlier this month. Court records show that a misdemeanor gun charge against Thomas was dropped last year.

There are over 450 new cases of the virus in West Virginia, pushing the number of active cases back up to over seven-thousand. Eleven more people have died. Over 560-thousand West Virginians are fully vaccinated.
Governor Justice is pleading with younger West Virginians to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Anyone sixteen and older is eligible for the vaccine, but 16-to-35 year olds have the lowest vaccination numbers in the state.
