Police are searching for the driver who hit a building on Charleston’s West Side and then took off. It happened near Bigley Avenue and Washington Street West about 9 p.m. Monday. Charleston firefighters said the building was under renovation and nobody was injured. Eyewitness News said that the driver fled after hitting the building.
