Active COVID-19 cases continue to rise

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources is reporting five more deaths and more four-hundred new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24-hours. Active cases continue to rise, and are over 66-hundred. Over five-hundred-thousand West Virginians have received one dose of the vaccine, and over 340-thousand are fully vaccinated.

State exceeds revenue estimates for March

The state exceeded revenue estimates by over 27-million-dollars in March, putting it 235-million-dollars ahead of estimates for the fiscal year. Governor Justice says the state has almost become “numb” to good revenue reports.
