Rain Causes a Road Slip in Logan County

Recent flash flooding caused some damage recently. Part of a road in Logan County was washed away with high water last Sunday. Rain caused the mudslide off Rt. 52 near Gilbert and that caused the road to buckle. Warning signs will be up until the road is repaired.

Clay Center to Offer Summer Camps

A joint program between Marshall University and Mountwest Community and Technical College in aviation maintenance broke ground ceremonially on Friday, according to The Herald-Dispatch. One Arrest in Charleston Stabbing

A man is in serious condition after being stabbed Saturday evening. Charleston Police said 38-year old Anthony Morrison was stabbed multiple times around his head and neck during an argument with Carl Foster at the Washington Manor Housing Complex. Foster is charged with malicious wounding.
