Boone County deputies said a traffic stop led to drug and child neglect charges against a couple with active warrants for cruelty to animals. The West Virginia Capitol Complex is in bloom. Groundskeepers planted nearly 47-thousand spring blooming bulbs, and around five-thousand pansies. They say in about two weeks, everything will start to look different when they start planting summer annuals.

WV Senate narrowly passes tax cut bill

“Team Up to Clean Up” initiative starts this month

Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin is announcing a city wide cleanup initiative called the spring 2021 “Team Up to Clean Up.” A series of cleanup events will be held every Saturday between April 24th and May 22nd. Businesses and organizations can join resident to clean and beautify neighborhoods.
