One is Arrested After a Stabbing in Charleston

Charleston police said one person was arrested in a stabbing Wednesday. Metro 911 said one person was stabbed in the arm at Bream Street and Second Avenue, and was in stable condition at a hospital. Police said the incident started as a domestic situation.

The Senate Transportation Committee is discussing a bill that would set a limit on how long you can stay in the passing lane on the interstate and highways. The bill puts the limit at two miles in the fast lane, to avoid holding up traffic.

Man admits to setting home on fire

A man is under arrest for setting a house on fire after a fight with his girlfriend. He admitted to reaching through a broken window and setting the curtains on fire. No one was hurt. He’s charged with arson.

Man arrested for attacking deputy

A man is under arrest for attacking a Mingo County Sheriff’s Deputy and trying to stab him. The man was found unconscious in his car, and officers tried to revive him. When he regained consciousness, he became combative at hit one of the officers. They were both taken to the hospital for evaluation.
