A man who shot at a police officer will spend an additional seventeen-years in prison. Thirty- three-year-old Bryan Ogle II was trying to escape from Charleston Area Medical Center in 2018 when he shot at an officer, and the bullet was deflected by his body camera. It is Ogle’s thirteenth felony conviction.
Kanawha County deputies are investigating after a man was found dead at a home in Campbell’s Creek. The body was found inside a detached building on the property. Police are calling it a homicide.
The West Virginia Supreme Court will hear a challenge to Governor Justice’s pick to fill a vacant House of Delegates seat. The governor appointed Joshua Bell to fill the Wayne County seat.
