Work zone speed limit enforcement

Charleston police are enforcing work zone speed limits through the construction zone at the new intersection being built at Oakwood Road and Corridor-G. There’s a traffic lane shift and a reduced speed limit of forty-miles-per-hour through the work zone.

Downtown street closure change

Street closures for outdoor dining are changing in downtown Charleston. Friday was record setting day for COVID-19 numbers. There are more than five-hundred new cases of the virus, and 240 patients are hospitalized. Eight more people people have died, raising the state’s death toll to over 450.
