A Georgia man was sentenced to four life sentences plus ten-years for drug distribution that resulted in a Fairmont woman’s death. Thirty-five-year-old Terrick Robinson was found guilty in January on eight charges after the body of Courtney Dubois was found in a Georgia landfill in 2018.
Three people are under arrest after leading police on a pursuit reaching speeds of more than one-hundred-miles-per-hour on I-77. The SUV stopped when it hit spike strip that blew out the front tires. All three are facing drug charges. Officers found heroin and meth in the car.
Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin says she didn’t know the nonprofit group, SOAR, was distributing needles in the city. She agrees that the needle exchange program violates city code.
