Flu cases jump in WV

West Virginia is one of two states seeing a surge in flu cases, early in the season. The state jumped from minimal flu activity to moderate flu activity, joining Iowa as the only other state above minimal. Health experts recommend getting your flu shot early.

Three more people die from COVID-19

Three more people have died from COVID-19, bringing the state death toll close to four-hundred since reporting began. There are two-hundred-eighty new cases of the virus, and the daily positive test rate is over two-and-a-half percent.

Body of missing Meigs County man found

The body of a missing Meigs County man has been found. Eighty-year-old Kenneth Hayes has been missing since Wednesday. His body was found near State Route 143 and Kingsbury Road in the Harrisonville area.
