Kenova police are trying to identify a woman who was found dead in an apartment on Walnut Street. The man who discovered the body said he was a former friend, but officers found his story suspicious and arrested him on two separate warrants.
Three more people have from coronavirus in West Virginia, including two people in Kanawha County. The state death toll is up to 44, and more than 11-hundred people have tested positive for the virus. The positive test rate remains below three-percent.
Kanawha County is installing automatic fever screening devices in county buildings to screen employees and the public. Two units can screen up to five-hundred people in less than thirty-minutes.
