Kanawha County man dies from COVID-19

A 79-year-old Kanawha County man has died from COVID-19, raising the state’s death toll to 117. There are nearly 120 new cases of the virus, for a total of over 68-hundred. The daily positive test rate is three-percent.

COVID-19 testing moved due to bad weather

Kanawha County health officials are moving a COVID-19 testing site today due to bad weather. The event was originally scheduled for the Shawnee Sports Complex, and is being moved to the parking garage of the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.

Kanawha County couple charged with child neglect

A Kanawha County couple is facing child neglect charges. Fifty-year-old Howard Crouch is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit with three children in the car. Forty-eight-year-old Angela Stamper was also in the car and showed signs of impairment. The kids are with family members.
