Beware of utility scams

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is urging people to be wary of scammers threatening to shutoff utility services. The state’s largest utilities, including American Electric Power, First Energy, Dominion Energy and West Virginia American Water, have suspended utility cutoffs as customers cope with fallout from the pandemic.

3 Suspects arrested in St. Albans robbery

Three people are under arrest in connection to a robbery at a St. Albans Family Dollar store last. They were arrested after a traffic stop when police found items related to the robbery in their vehicle. All three are charged with armed robbery.
