Poca shooting suspect wanted

A thirty-three-year-old man was shot and wounded on Manilla Creek Road near Poca. He suffered non-life threatening injuries. Police have identified a suspect. Forty-five-year-old Scott Snook is on the run and is believed to be from around St. Albans.

Police Investigate Fatal Accident on MacCorkle Avenue

A deadly crash involving multiple vehicles shut down all lanes of MacCorkle Avenue Friday evening. One person died and others were injured, according to Metro 911 dispatchers. The roadway was closed from the Kanawha Turnpike to Corridor G South as Charleston police investigated what led up to the crash.

COVID-19 cases on the rise

West Virginia is reporting its highest single-day total of COVID-19 cases with more than two-hundred new positive cases. Thirteen people have died this week for a total of 116. Hospitalizations continue to climb, with more than one-hundred people in the hospital with the virus.
