WVU is planning a phased return to campus this fall, starting with freshmen and graduate students. The majority of upper-division undergraduate courses will be online or hybrid delivery. Officials say a full return to campus would place the campus and the community at greater risk of spreading the virus.

Three more COVID-19 deaths

There are more than ninety new cases of COVID-19 statewide. Active cases declined to just over 16-hundred, and 85 people are hospitalized with the virus. Three more people have died, raising the death toll to 106.
