Charleston has canceled the Live on the Levee concert series this summer. The city says it’s working on a plan to host a socially distant Fourth of July celebration, but said the threat of COVID-19 is too great to allow the Live on the Levee food and music celebration to move forward.

State officials are responding to questions about face masks distributed to first responders across the state.
