Two people were charged with selling or illegally storing fireworks without the proper permits recently in Cabell and Logan counties. One person is injured in an ATV accident

Emergency crews responded to a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle that trapped a person near the Mason-Cabell County line Monday afternoon. Eyewitness News said the wreck happened about 12:30 p.m. along Jenkins Creek Road. Dispatchers said one person was trapped under an ATV was freed and a medical helicopter was called to the scene.

UC student aces the Physician Assistant exam

Enoch Koo is part of the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Charleston and achieved a remarkable feat. The University said on its website that Koo achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam. Now a certified Physician Assistant, Koo is headed to Houston to begin his career.
