Kanawha County Moves to Gold on the Color-Coded Map

More improvement with the daily county alert map….Kanawha County moved from orange to gold with Thursday’s map. The DHHR map continues to be dominated by orange, with 28 counties in orange and 13 in red. Fayette and Clay counties joined Kanawha in gold.

WV PSC approves Frontier Communication’s Chapter 11 plan

The West Virginia Public Service Commission is approving of Frontier Communications’ Chapter-Eleven reorganization plan. The company made a commitment to invest 200-million-dollars to deploy fiber optic facilities to at least 150-thousand locations in the state. When it gets out of Chapter-Eleven, the company will have reduced it debts by more than ten-billion-dollars.
