Governor Justice is standing by his color-coded COVID-19 alert map. He says the most recent changes were made to encourage more testing. The system is facing several legal challenges, and Justice says, “At the end of the day, if there’s lawsuits there’s lawsuits.”
The search continues for Chuck Taylor. He went missing from his Williamson apartment more than a week ago. Taylor is blind and has a mental condition, and police believe he is off his medication.
A 21-year-old Grafton man is accused of stabbing his father and his cousin with a screw driver. Jordan Swiger told officers the trees were talking to him. Both victims suffered minor injuries.

The state Office of Emergency Medical Services will file an emergency amendment to temporarily suspend EMS licensing requirements for fire departments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fire departments will be allowed to operate under an affiliation agreement with an EMS agency to provide emergency services.
Lincoln County High School has been closed this week after two students tested positive for COVID-19.
