The City of Huntington will start a big road project next summer that’s been years in the making. Hal Greer Boulevard will see upgrades with the goal of making it safer. City leaders also say it will encourage development along the way, and across the way in Northcott Court. The scope of the project is from Washington Boulevard to Third Avenue near Marshall University. They’ll create a two-way cycle track, wider sidewalks and more pedestrian lighting.
